This sketch is the fifteenth in a 365-day challenge to draw a picture a day, every day, for a year…
Day Fifteen: I’m fascinated with Domenico Campagnola’s drawing style (first half of the 16th century, Venetian), and his phenomenal landscapes. This sketch is so horrible I cannot even call it a tribute. BUT I MADE WITH WITH A WACOM BAMBOO! It is my first sketch with a digital drawing pad and Corel. Between Corel and getting used to the pad, it’s going to be awhile before I can come anywhere close to what I can make on my iPhone… so far. Just to get this one semi-spontaneous pen and ink drawing took me 33 new files. But the potential of this new set up is enormous if I practice… or maybe try reading the Corel help!
