The layers of green, black, and white on the page mimicked a chiaroscuro woodcut so well, I had to look twice to make sure I really was looking at a drawing. Today&#8217;s sketch is a detail of the Sybil as she reads a book, but I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s any question here that it&#8217;s a sketch.
