Day Fourteen: Wasn’t sure what to draw, so I drew what came to mind. Been thinking about layers of color, so started there with a ground of pale yellow and brick; thought about Munch’s “Jealousy” (see January 12), and decided to build up my own haunted face emerging out of blackness. I smudged it downward to add some good old-fashioned surrealist effect. Sketched on my iPhone.
